COMMUNICATION
Communication is at the heart of every relationship. Your message has to be clear, concise, and targeted, regardless of the method you use to deliver it. Words matter; graphics matter; tone of voice matters; time and place matter. There is a growing plague of TMI (too much information) and too little meaningful dialogue. The human voice was invented before email, texting, and Twitter. Body language speaks volumes. Listening, getting input, and analyzing the environment are critical elements of successful communication. Internal communication is sometimes more challenging than external communication, as every family, business, agency, congregation, and civic and personal interest group knows all too well. I'll help you to get back to the basics and soar into the brave new world of communications.
I'll work with you to:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of your communications
- Design a communications plan
- Suggest communication options to improve your effectiveness
- Establish and implement communications policies and procedures
- Plan and facilitate focus group sessions, retreats, staff meetings, client meetings, etc.
- Provide staff training on communications
- Write talking points, case statements, contract and grant proposals, white papers, Web site copy, press releases, annual reports, etc., and/or edit your copy
- Manage your graphic and web-based projects
